SHIPPING TRAINEE

The trainee programme provides a knowledge base for coming generations of professional shipping staff in operations and chartering either in Denmark or at one of JL's overseas offices.

It is an intensive two-year programme that focuses on the development of your professional and personal competencies and combines on-the-job-training in operations/chartering with theoretical education at Copenhagen Business School (HD part 1), classes in shipping-related topics at other institutes as well as inhouse classes.

The programme begins in August 2010 and runs for a period of two years.

Admission requirements

You have completed grammar school (STX) and hold a "HH-fagpakke" certificate from business college or you have completed the three-year HHX or similar examination, as minimum. You have mathematics at B-level, English at A-level, and good marks in economics.

Interpersonal skills: You are ambitious, goal-oriented, outgoing, and flexible.
